The 3rd (or 4th?) annual TTORA Big Bear run was a blast, with over 50 Tacoma trucks in attendance.. We split into 4 groups for Saturdays runs, 2 groups being for easier trails, and 2 groups running harder trails. I was tailgunner for one of the hard trail groups, we ran both John Bull Trail and Holcomb Creek Trails that day. Jason Demello of Demello Off-Road was leading the run, and had his new prototype rear bumper to test out.. We also had Mike along on our run, with his Solid Axle Dana 44 converted Tacoma. (edit 8/28 - I added some stills from my Vid cam, they start halfway down the page about - had some good shots of Mike and Mark, etc, but are much lower quality than my reg digi cam)

Tacoma on Holcomb Creek (Windows Media Format, 1.3 Megs in size) Yep, Mark got his truck through - stock height and 31's. Only damage was the front bumper, and allot of scraped rocks. A Hi-Res 14 meg version can be found here, but note it's on a slow server. | |
